Rinker, who has a syndicated radio program, said that a pair of the chairs was worth about $300. About 100 people brought items in for appraisals for donations to benefit Caribou Pet Rescue’s animal shelter. A total of $438 was raised for the shelter.

Wilza Robertson of Limestone was one of the first in line to receive an appraisal from Harry Rinker, an antiques expert, on Saturday at Phil’s Florist and Greenhouses. Rinker said that the sewing notions set that Robertson brought in was valued at about $250.
