Literacy workshop at Houlton Higher Education Center

HOULTON, Maine — On Saturday, May 3, ACAP Child and Family Services and the MSAD 29/70 Family Literacy program sponsored a workshop for parents, childcare providers and all caregivers entitled “Preparing Your Child to Read and Having Fun While You Do It.” Workshop attendees practiced proven ways to engage children in reading and shared experiences in early literacy.
