To the editor:
Thank you for providing the Houlton Pioneer Times on the Web. I have checked several times over the years to see if and when such a service would be provided. Having been born and raised in “The County” — Linneus — and pastored a County church — County Road Baptist Church in New Limerick — for several years, I have retained an interest in what is happening in the region. I now live and pastor a church in Ellsworth.
I continue to care for my 92-year-old dad and he will thoroughly enjoy reading the Pioneer Times weekly … I just ordered it for him today.
Guess the old saying is still true … you can take the boy out of the county, but … well, you know.
