Candidate qualified

To the editor:
    I am writing to encourage people in northern Aroostook County to vote for Gary Pelletier, candidate for Senate District 35, in the upcoming primary election. I don’t know the other candidates but I do know that I have worked with Gary on several issues dealing with landowner rights and timber harvesting in Augusta. Gary is a very down to earth guy who understands what is going on in the woods. He also is willing to put his neck on the line and fiercely defend the property rights of the landowners. He has a tremendous amount of common sense – something that we need lots more of in Augusta.
    With Gary’s background on law enforcement and the many civic, professional, and service-oriented organizations he has served, it is obvious to me that he is dedicated to the betterment of and preserving the great way of life in northern Aroostook County If Gary Pelletier is elected the people of Senate District 35 will be very well represented in Augusta. Please vote for Gary Pelletier.
