BANGOR, Maine — Tawnie Whiting of Bangor, formally of Houlton, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. She started her formal education in Houlton at Headstart, Kindergarten and first grade. She is a 2007 graduate of Bangor High. She is the daughter of Lynnotte and Bruce Barnes of Bangor and Kenneth Whiting of Rockland. Her maternal grandparents are Gerry Tidd and Chris Richardson of Houlton. Her paternal grandparents are Kenneth and Bonnie Whiting of Danforth.
