CARIBOU – Myron L. Coulter, 84, died July 3, 2008, at Caribou. He was born at Bucyrus, Ohio, April 29, 1924, the son of Eldon and Bernice (Wilhelm) Coulter. Myron served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War, enlisting in 1942. He was a banker for many years at Boston Public Marks in Brockton, MA and also owned and operated Coulter’s Restaurant in Twin Mountain, NH for many years. He was a Masonic member in Texas, a member of the Anna Temple Shrine and the Baseball Association for spring training in Florida. Myron lived in Florida and Texas for several years before moving to Caribou in 2001.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Coulter and his wife Sandra of FL and Larry Coulter and his wife Donna of Lamesa, TX; one sister Annette Hartman of Lima, OH; a daughter-in-law Laura McPherson of Mapleton; a sister-in-law Evelyn Coulter of Lima, OH; 13 grandchildren including Jolene Blake, Janis Coulter and Jennifer Theriault who will sadly miss him and will always have a special place in their hearts.; many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Grace (Pulcifer) Coulter in 1986 a son David Coulter; a daughter Shirley Ann Powers; three brothers Harold G. Coulter, Charles P. Coulter and Eldon Glen Coulter Jr. and an infant sister Jeannette Coulter.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Pastor Anthony Brisco, officiating. Interment took place in the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. For online registery please go to www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
