Anyone who takes their java seriously probably felt the urge for a fresh cup, as staff from Tim Horton’s participated in the Caribou Cares About Kids Parade. The parade, held Sunday afternoon was full of community business representations and kids and more kids.
Observing their first Caribou About Kids parade, the Johnson family were quite impressed and wondered if the community would be doing the same thing next year. The family only recently relocated here from Arizona.
Taking advantage of the Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum’s call to decorate anything with wheels, the youth of the community turned out to ride in the Caribou Cares About Kids Parade in full force.
Drew Lajoie takes perfect aim at the target in hopes of dunking Jay Olson during the Block Party held recently as part of the annual Caribou Cares About Kids activities. The block party was sponsored by Virtual Management Solutions. Following Olson’s time on the bench, he was replaced by Mike Kinder, an owner of VMS.
It may have been an unusally warm afternoon, but this Viking proved his strength and endurance, walking the entire parade route clad in his rather winter-weight garb. The Caribou Viking greeted kids and adults alike along the path, acknowleding greetings and comments.
