Members of the Caribou High School Class of 1938 held their 70th reunion Aug.1 at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center, with 13 classmates and seven guests attending. Reunion chairperson Pearl (McNeal) Hale acted as Mistress of Ceremonies for the event.

Attending the recent 70th class reunion of the Caribou High School, Class of 1938 were, from left, in front, Leila (Quimby) Robertson, Anita Cote, William Crandall, Captola (Stewart) Harrington and Pearl (McNeal) Hale. A memorial of deceased classmates was ready by Hale’s daughter, Janice St. Peter. Following the Pledge of Allegiance, classmates sang their school song “Hail Class of ‘38”, accompanied on piano by Leila (Quimby) Robertson who also entertained her classmates with a medley of other songs.
During the event blessings were offered by classmate William Crandall. The 13 classmates also enjoyed hearing comments and letters read from those unable to attend the reunion.
Abby and Paige Small, owners of Small Steps Dance, along with their group of dancers performed several entertaining routines as part of the program.
The group met for a breakfast gathering the following morning.
