Westfield Jubilee Days this weekend

    WESTFIELD – The 14th Annual Westfield Jubilee Days will be happening this weekend, Aug. 22 – 23.  There are many events planned for the public to enjoy at Westfield Park.     Friday night features the ATV pulls, with registration from 5:30 – 6 p.m. The pulls will start at 6 p.m. The Food Booths will be open from 5:30 – 9 p.m. For more information, call 429-8273.
    Saturday’s events begin with registration for the Tractor Pulls at 10 a.m. Bingo will run from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
    The parade will line up at 10:30 a.m., with the parade starting at 11 a.m. The Food Booths will be open from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and the Shrine Klowns will be on hand. The Horseshoe Tournament will begin at 11 a.m. Bring your own horseshoes (preferably not still attached to the horse!!) Please pre-tegister at 429-9558. There will be pony rides from 12 – 2 p.m. with the Mane Eventers.
    The Tractor Pulls will go from 12 – 4 p.m., Wagon Rides from 12 – 2 p.m. and the Bouncing House will be available for the kids beginning at noon (socks required).
    Wendell Hudson will provide music from 1 – 3 p.m. Kids’ Games and a Haystack Hunt will begin at 1:30 p.m. Elvis will be in the house at 3 p.m.! And a Fry Pan Throwing Contest will begin at 3:30 p.m. for the women. The Wednesday Evening Fiddlers will provide entertainment at 4 p.m.
    A Pig Roast and Bean-Hole Bean Dinner will be available at 5 p.m. ($7). Live music will be provided by “Fireman” Fred Parsons from 5 – 7 p.m.
    At 7:30 p.m., the party will move to Campers Paradise for live music. The evening will end with a Bon Fire at Campers Paradise at 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting).
