CARIBOU – Anita Marie Dionne, 79, wife of the late Bertrand Dionne, died December 11, 2008 at Caribou. She was born at St. Anne, N.B. Canada, January 30, 1929, the daughter of Steven and Florida (Burby) Levesque. Anita was a home care attendant for several area families and was also employed at Potato Service for 30 years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Henry B. Pratt Post #15 Ladies Auxiliary and the Lister-Knowlton Post #9389 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family.
Anita is survived by two sons, Steven Dionne and Galen Dionne, both of Caribou; a daughter, Sharon Bennett of Caribou; one brother, Maurice Levesque of Madawaska Lake; three sisters, Lorraine McCrossin of Caribou, Martha Morin of Limestone and Loretta Boucher of Waterbury, CT; three grandchildren, Larry Dionne of Portland, Jared Dionne of Caribou and Nicole Dionne of AZ; one great-grand daughter Desiree Wilson of AZ; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bertrand; two sisters, Germaine Lavigne and Isabell Cyr, and a son-in-law Larry Bennett.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. December 13, 2008, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial.
