FOLLOWING HIS PERFORMANCE last Friday night at Presque Isle High School, children’s singer-songwriter Rick Charette signed autographs for his young fans. Meeting the singer of “I Love Mud,” “Bubblegum,” and “Alligator in the Elevator” are Owen Delano, 2, and Olivia Delano-Ecker, 6, of Presque Isle. The concert was sponsored by the Presque Isle Elementary PTO.

ABOUT 600 PEOPLE attended last Friday night’s Rick Charette concert held at the Presque Isle High School gymnasium. Young and old alike enjoyed listening to such songs as “I Love Mud,” “Where Do My Sneakers Go at Night?” and “Staple in My Sock.” Many audience members participated by doing hand motions to the songs, while lots of kids were dancing on the gym floor.

Earlier in the day, Charette performed at the Pine Street and Mapleton elementary schools. Charette’s performances were sponsored by the Presque Isle Elementary PTO. The PTO wishes to thank Adam Murchison for helping with the “Alligator in the Elevator” song.
