PRESQUE ISLE – MMG Insurance Co., a regional, P/C company headquartered in Presque Isle, is pleased to announce the promotion of Heather MacKinnon to personal lines lead underwriter.
MacKinnon began her career with MMG Insurance in 1999. She has held the positions of data entry technician, associate underwriter, and most recently the position of personal lines underwriter.
She holds her associates in personal insurance industry designation and is actively pursuing her associate’s degree in business from Northern Maine Community College.
MacKinnon is actively involved in her community. She currently serves as a steering committee member of Momentum Aroostook and has worked with University of Maine students in the development of “The Portal Project: Enticing Young Professionals to the County.”
She resides in Presque Isle with her husband, Rob, and children, Cassie, Ian and Owen.
