Club talks community service

    The Preceptor Alpha chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held their monthly meeting at the home of Darrylin Keenan, with Sue Blanchard serving as co-hostess, with President Emily Knight presiding.     The major focus of the meeting was service to the community. Members decided to give donations to the Sister Mary O’Donnell Homeless Shelter and the Central Aroostook Humane Society – both Presque Isle non-profits.
    Next month, members will meet on Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at Karen Shaw’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
    After the business meeting, sisters enjoyed refreshments and conversation.
