PRESQUE ISLE – Aroostook County Action Program, Inc. (ACAP) recently honored 26 employees for achieving milestones of service to the agency.
Members of the ACAP board of directors, Executive Director Connie Sandstrom, along with other senior managers and fellow employees, congratulated those who achieved milestones of service to the agency and commended them for their service and commitment to the people of Aroostook County.
An employee recognition event honored each employee with a lapel pin that designated their years of service. Recognized for five years of service were Patricia Borden of Caribou, Rob Bragdon of Westfield, Aline Brissette of Caribou, Rita Daigle of Wallagrass, Nicole Fournier of Garfield Plantation, Debra Goodall of Oakfield, Nicole Pryor of Mars Hill, Roxanne Stewart of Lincoln and Lorena Witham of Presque Isle.
Honored for 10 years were Ellen Bemis of Presque Isle, Valerie DeLong of Mapleton, Brenda Hersey of Oakfield and Del Ouellette of Perham. Fifteen-year honorees were Christine Condon of Ashland, Diane Landeen of New Sweden and Kellie Ouellette of Presque Isle. Serving the agency for 20 years were Viola Belanger of Presque Isle, Joanne Cushing of Smyrna Mills, Launa Dube of Presque Isle, Jeffrey Heron of Caribou, Connie Sandstrom of Presque Isle and Jane Scott of Washburn. Twenty-five-year honorees were David Bouchard of Caribou, Milton Burtt of Presque Isle and Peter Delano of Mars Hill. Honored for 30 years was Patricia Good of Presque Isle.
ACAP provides the people of Aroostook with services and programs in the areas of health, nutrition, child and family, energy and housing, and employment and training, and as a leader or in partnership with others, provides guidance to the community in responding to emerging human needs.
