Red Knights support fire safety

    The Maine Chapter 7 Red Knights International Motorcycle Club, after its first full year of operation has made several donations to area charities. Maine 7 presented a check for $300 to Rich Wark, president of Aroostook County Fire Chiefs, to be used for the area “Learn Not To Burn” program.

    Maine 7 also presented a $300 donation to Cary’s Camp Adventure. Camp Adventure is a program for teens from throughout Maine who have diabetes. While attend Camp Adventure, the teens learn how to better manage the disease.
     A gift of $ 300 was also given to Maine Medical Center’s Burn Unit. This gift has been designated for family and patients in need of financial assistance while at MMC, funds may be used for lodging, food or gas. This particular fund is directed to be used for Aroostook County residents only.
    The Maine Chapter 7 Red Knights members are all area firefighters.
