The Houlton High School Auditorium will be the site for the District Vocal Jazz Festival on Monday, March 9. Tickets are sold at the door for $3 adults/$2 students and senior citizens. Various groups from Aroostook County are trying to qualify for the state festival that will be held in Houlton on April 4.
The following are performance listings: 4 p.m., Houlton Junior High Show Choir; 4:25 p.m., Union 122 Show Choir; 4:50 p.m., Caribou Middle School Show Choir; 6 p.m., Caribou High School Jazz Choir; 6:25 p.m., Easton High School Jazz Choir; 6:50 p.m., Presque Isle High School Jazz Choir and 7:15 p.m., Houlton High School Show Choir.
