Angela York and Nicholas Bubar are pleased to announce their engagement. Angela is the daughter of Fay and Paula York of Mapleton. Nicholas is the son of Fred and Barb Bubar of Fort Fairfield. 
The bride to be is a 2000 graduate of PIHS and received her bachelor’s degree in social work from UMPI. She is a licensed social worker, currently employed by Northern Maine General as an adult case manager. The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Fort Fairfield High School and has an associate’s degree in information technology and business administration with a concentration in agri-business from NMCC. He obtained his private pilot’s license from Old Town Aviation, Inc. Nicholas is a self-employed potato farmer.
The couple plan to be wed June 27, 2009.
