Visitors to Littleton like what they see

On May 14, 2009 –  Bob and Inge Van Pelt from Naples, Florida and Rhode Island visited Littleton.
Staying with their daughter, Lisa Van Pelt Harper, son-in-law Kenneth Harper and grandson Robert Remington.  Lisa, Ken and Bobby just recently moved to Littleton from Rhode Island.              Ken grew up in Monticello and is glad to be home again. During the visit, Lisa’s mom, Inge, originally from Germany continually remarked “this reminds me so much of Germany”, “I feel like I am home.”
Both Bob and Inge were engrossed with the magnificant views of the landscape. Along with the beautiful surroundings and wildlife sightings they had the chance to taste fiddleheads for the first time, walk and shop the square in Houlton and enjoy a a wonderful lunch at the Cafe.     They are planning to return sometime a little later next year, when hopefully it’s a bit warmer. Bob hopes to see a moose on the next trip!
