Meet your firefighter

    Firefighter/Paramedic Timmy Guerrette, 40, has been with the Caribou Fire and Ambulance Department for 18 years.     “John Morrell asked me to join the department and I did,” said Guerrette, “it was the best decision of my life. It involves a lot of training and citizens need to understand that we actually do two jobs for the price of one.”
    While not on duty at his full-time position with the CFD, Firefighter Tim‘s interests and hobbies center around vintage snowmobile and motorcycles. His favorite food comes from the Jade Palace and he grooves to the tunes from the 1980s.
    Dad to son, Steven and stepson Joey, the veteran firefighter and lady-friend Karen reside in Caribou.
    Described by one co-worker as “not only a good firefighter and EMT/paramedic, he also grows some really good cabbage!”
    So, keep an eye out for the sign that reads, “Timmy G’s Cabbage,” coming to a roadside or store near you this fall.
