The Houlton 9-10-year-old All-stars remained undefeated in the District 3 Little League Tournament, edging Holbrook 9-8 in last Thursday’s action.
The Houlton All-stars, 4-0 in the double elimination tourney, were slated to play Old Town at 5:30 p.m. yesterday.
At Holden, Houlton’s Connor Grant worked four innings of one-hit ball and came back from a 7-3 deficit.
The Houlton All-stars were ahead 3-2 after the first inning, but Holbrook broke the game open with a five-run second inning to take a 7-3 lead. The game was scoreless until Houlton drove in four runs in the fifth and added two runs, including the game-winner in the top of the sixth.
Logan Ellis, Cameron Graham, Jacob Worthley and Caleb Tribou all singled for Houlton.
