MISS MAPLETON KATELYNN HARTT, center, was crowned the 2009 Maine Potato Queen during the July 18 pageant held in Fort Fairfield as part of the annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival.
Congratulating Hartt are, from left: Miss Greater Mars Hill Meagan McClay, who was named second runner-up, and Miss Presque Isle Haley Johnston, who was named first runner-up. Hartt is the daughter of Marcia and Alton Hartt, McClay is daughter of Lisa and James McClay, and Johnston is the daughter of Debby and John Johnston.
