Volunteers for Halfway Pet Rescue recently sponsored a garage sale/bottle drive/feline adoption fair on Pleasant St. in Caribou. As a result of this event, six cat/kitten adoptions were arranged, $1362. in garage sale profits were realized and a yet to be determined amount of funds were gained from the bottle drive. All monies raised from the recent fund-raiser go toward the medical care and spay/neuter programs for the animals. Halfway Pet Rescue volunteers say they still have several healthy, loving cats/kittens ready for adoption.
