More than four hundred local children, parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents took advantage of the Fall Fun Festival, sponsored by members of the Lister/Knowlton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. The event, just happened to fall on Halloween so ghosts and goblins, cartoon characters, pirates, kings, and princesses were all decked out, ready to enjoy any number of games setup through the gymnasium and of course, to participate in the costume judging. The VFW Auxilary has sponsored this fall classic for the last 20 years.
Kathy Mazzuchelli, (or Shrek) Caribou Parks and Recreation director, along with Wellness Center staff members, high school students and representatives from the Loring Job Corps, kept things moving right along throughout the two hour event.
