In response to public demand, the non-profit St. Martin’s Thrift Store at 12 Maine Ave., Millinocket, will stay open on a Saturday, Dec. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., to serve those who cannot shop during the shop’s regular Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday hours.
Merchandise available for purchase, some marked down to half price, will include: men’s/women’s wear, toys, knit goods, brand new items, books, small household items and furniture.
All proceeds from the store help to support the non-denominational food pantry and emergency fuel fund that serves the disadvantaged families of the greater Katahdin region.
