On a cold, windy winter day, the annual Wild Katahdin Trust Snow Run was held during Moosestompers Weekend at Community Park.
There were 51 participants, with all age categories represented.
Racers and walkers brought in $500 for the Aroostook Musterd Scholarship Fund.
This was the first race of the County Challenge Series. The next race is the Spring Runoff at the University of Maine Presque Isle on April 10. The walk is at 9:45 a.m., followed by the run at 10 a.m.
All proceeds go the UMPI cross-country program.
