Hoop Skills Clinic set

    A Hoop Skills Clinic will be held Saturday, Feb. 27 at Houlton High School for youth in grades 3-8.
    The Lee Academy Prep basketball team members will come to Houlton to conduct the clinic. According to organizer and Houlton varsity boys’ basketball coach Mike Fogarty, it is a chance to learn new drills to improve a player’s game. It is also a chance to observe the best talent Maine has to offer.
    The first session will be from 9:30-11 a.m. for girls and boys in grades 3-5, while the second session will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for girls and boys in grades 6-8.
    Cost is $10 and checks are payable to Houlton High School. For more information or to register, call Fogarty at 532-6040.
