Long Creek Air Tragedy group to meet in South Portland

    The Maine native granite Long Creek Air Tragedy  (LCAT) memorial, commemorating the worst air crash in Maine’s history, is being installed on Thursday at 11 a.m.  Members of the Long Creek Air Tragedy will be present, as well as members of the South Portland City Council and South Portland city officials.  Karen Allen, who survived the crash at the age of 2 years old, will also be there.
     This is not the formal dedication.  The formal dedication will take place on Sunday, July 11 at 2 p.m.
