ATV course set
An ATV Safety Course, sponsored by the Houlton Band of Maliseets, will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Maliseet Rec Building on the Foxcroft Road. Lunch will be provided.
The course is being instructed by John Cleary. Students 10-12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the full program. Student limit is 40.
Hoop camp slated
Katahdin High School will hold a summer basketball camp from July 6-9.
Youth going into grades 4-6 will meet at 8:30 a.m., followed by those youth going into grades 7-9 at 10:30 a.m.
The camp provides fundamental basketball skill work. The instructors are Phil Faulkner and Terry Duffy.

Road race Sunday
The annual S.W. Collins 5K Road Race will be held Sunday, June 27 at the S.W. Collins parking lot in Caribou. The Kids 1K walk begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K walk at 9:45 a.m. and the 5K run at 10 a.m.
The race serves as the third stage of the County Challenge Racing Series.

DSA camps offered
The Dutch Soccer Academy is offering two separate overnight camps at the University of Maine at Presque Isle as well as week-long day camps throughout the summer.
The first week of overnight camp is June 27-July 2 and is for students entering grades 5-12. The second week, July 5-9, is for grades 7-12 and students who have just completed their senior year.
Lodging will be at both Northern Maine Community College and UM-Presque Isle. Students staying at NMCC will be shuttled to UMPI each day. Tuition is $410 for overnighters and $330 for commuters. Family discounts are available.
A day camp is also being offered in Houlton July 12-16.
At Houlton High School, grades K-4 meet from 9 a.m.-noon and grades 5-8 from 4-7 p.m.
