HODGDON – Raymond Stone, 68, died Feb. 18, 2011, in Houlton. He was born Sept. 27, 1942, in Houlton, son of Ralph and Phyllis (Howe) Stone.
He was a veteran of the National Guard.
In addition to his mother of Hodgdon, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Tammy Carriero Stone of Hodgdon; five children, Christopher Stone of Tennessee, Brian Buzzeo of Portland, Philip Buzzeo of Saco, Joseph Buzzeo of Buxton, and Maddox Buzzeo of Hodgdon; eight grandchildren; and five siblings, sister Ellen Stone Campbell of Springlake, N.C. and her three children, Lisa, Lori and Robbie, Leonard Worthley of Old Town, Reginald Worthley of Hawaii, Clint Worthley of Hampden and Virginia Stone of Bangor; aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father.
Friends called 6-8 p.m. Monday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services were held 8 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
