FFABC event held
Thirty five teams competed in the 14th annual Fort Fairfield Athletic Booster Club golf scramble, held May 30 at Aroostook Valley Country Club.
The winning men’s gross team was made up of Tim Belden, Mikey Collins, Ryan Graves and Reid McGlinn with a score of 13 under par. Low net honors for the men was captured by E.J. Dorsey, Joe Bernard, Sean Bernard and Bob Russell.
Low net the mixed division went to the team of Larry and Marilyn Gardner and Mickey and Brooke Browning.
Gloria Towle and Blair Adams won closest to pin contests and Judy Dombroski and Andrew Plant had the longest drives.
This year’s tourney was held in memory of Dr. Robert “Bobby” George.
