Melvin lived his life to the fullest. He loved his boys, his family in Maine and his Alvarado family in Florida, no-bake chocolate cookies, as well as all his friends old and new. He would willingly give up what he had to help out anyone in need, especially a child. He was “Uncle Mel”to countless children who knew they would get a smile, a story and a lot of fun when Uncle Mel was around.
In a life way too short, he touched the lives of everyone who met and loved him. He was full of fun and laughter and would put smiles on the faces of everyone who came in contact with him. He met you with a handshake and left you with a smile. Mel will be loved, missed and remembered in our hearts forever.
