PRESQUE ISLE & SAN ANTONIO, TX – Wyona W. (Wilcox) Reynolds passed away June 30, 2011, at her home in San Antonio, at age 74, with her husband, son and daughter-in-law at her side.

She was affectionately known as “Teddie” to her family and friends in the North and as “Wy” to all from the South.

She was born March 24, 1937, to Lawrence and Estelle (Monahan) Wilcox. She was their first child and only girl.

Teddie graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1955 and Keene State Teachers College at Keene, NH. She taught Home Economics in Winder, GA, most of her teaching career.

She was predeceased by her parents; half-brother, Lawrence Jr.; and brother, Kendall.

Survivors are her husband, William Reynolds of San Antonio, TX; son, Robert Rioux Jr. and wife, Lisa of Winder, GA; brothers: Dwight Wilcox and wife, Gloria of Presque Isle, Gerald Wilcox and wife, Maureen of Hermon, ME, Kermitt Wilcox and companion, Shirley Umphrey of Waterville, ME; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family called Saturday, July 9, from 6-9 p.m., with funeral services held Sunday, July 10, at 3 p.m. Services provided by Carter’s Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Burial was at Verril Memorial Gardens, Winder, GA.
