The Upper St. John Valley Senior Golf Association held a tournament on Aug. 25 at the Long Lake Country Club with a field of 105 golfers.
Dan Hotham of Presque Isle was the overall gross winner with a score of 71, while Dana Crory of Mars Hill was the overall net winner with a 61.
Division A gross winners were: Hotham; Michael Gagnon, Caribou, 74 and Ron Arbeau, Covered Bridge, 75. Net, Stephen Sweetser, Presque Isle and Bob Boucher of Fort Kent, both 63s; Bob Roy, Caribou, 69.
Division B gross winners were: Roland Nadeau, Edmundston, 75; Ed Marshal, Edmundston, 79 and Joe Zubrick, Presque Isle, 81. Net, Russell Bouchard, Presque Isle, 64; Willard Cyr, Edmundston, 65 and Norman Michaud, Edmundston, 68.
Division C gross winners were: Josephel Pelletier, Presque Isle, 80; Mike Vaillancourt, Grand Falls, 81 and Robert Burns, Limestone, 82. Net, Hamish Duncan, Covered Bridge, 64; Glenn Carson, Presque Isle, 67 and Ken Delano, VaJoWa, 68.
Division D gross winners were: Dan Boyd, Presque Isle, 80; Clifford Gagnon, Long Lake, 84 and Ed Quinlan, VaJoWa, 85. Net, Bob Lewandowski, Presque Isle, 64; Gerald Clark, Presque Isleand Elwood Doody, Limestone, both 66.
Division E gross winners were: Keith Ireland, Caribou, 88; Ken Hensler, Caribou and Duncan Mackenzie, Mars Hill, both 89s. Net, Herb Williamson, Presque Isle and Freeman Deabay, Portage, both 64s and Louis Labrie, Fort Kent, 65.
Division F gross winners were: George Morneault, Long Lake, 92; Joe Kelley, VaJoWa, 95 and Keith Clark, Long Lake, 101. Net, Dana Crory, Mars Hill, 61; Roger Roy, Fort Kent, 68 and Ronald Gervais, Long Lake, 69.
