SUPERIOR COURT
CARIBOU — The following cases were heard at the Aroostook County Superior Court during the month of August.
* Michael R. Schmeltz, 21, Sudbury, Mass.: probation violation, 60 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued.
* Jeffrey L. Shaw, 40, Fort Fairfield: driving to endanger, $575 fine, five days in jail and 60 days’ license suspension; unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, dismissed; criminal mischief, five days in jail; eluding an officer, 18 months in prison, all but four months suspended and one-year probation; and OUI, $500 fine, five days in jail and 90-day license suspension.
* Edward C. Spence II, 26, Fort Fairfield: obstructing report of crime, $250 fine; domestic violence assault and assault, $300 fine (each).
* Jimmy D. Trotter Jr., 32, Presque Isle: probation violation, seven days in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued.
* Brian K. Turcotte, 34, Fort Fairfield: aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs (two counts), $4,600 fine, 20 years in prison, all but six years suspended and four years’ probation (first) and $400 fine and six years in prison (second); assault, $300 fine and three years in prison; aggravated criminal trespass, three years in prison; and violating condition of release (two counts), six months in prison (each).
* Katherine Margaret Tuttle, 21, Presque Isle: unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (two counts), filed on $200 costs (each).
* Jaxaira M. Vazquez, 23, Madawaska: burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed (each).
