    UMPI lists honors
    PRESQUE ISLE — Three hundred and 10 students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester, according to Dr. Michael Sonntag, provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Local residents graduate from Saint Joseph’s
    STANDISH — The following local residents earned their degree at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine: Tina Burrill, of Houlton, earned a master of science in education; Jay Edgecomb, of Fort Fairfield, received a master of science in education.
UM-Farmington Dean’s List
    The University of Maine at Farmington has announced its Dean’s List for the fall 2011 semester. Haley Nickerson of Houlton was named to the list.
    UMF maintains a Dean’s List each semester for those students completing a minimum of 12 credits in courses producing quality points. A student whose grade point average for the semester equals or exceeds 3.8 will be listed with high academic achievement. A student whose grade point average for the semester is less than 3.8 but equal to or greater than 3.5 will be listed with academic achievement.
McClure recognized at Thomas College
    WATERVILLE — Ashlee McClure of Houlton has been named to the Dean’s List at Thomas College for the fall semester.
Fitzpatrick named to Dean’s List
    Kelsey Fitzpatrick has been named to the Dean’s List with Distinction in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Each semester those students who achieve a grade point average of 4.0 on at least 15 semester units are honored.
USM announces Dean’s List
    The University of Southern Maine has announced its full-time Dean’s Lists for the fall 2011 semester. The following local students have been named to list for earning a grade point average of 3.4 or above and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours: Jenna Guiggey of Sherman.
