Millar Civic Center upcoming events

    Activities at the John Millar Civic Center in Community Park have been announced.
    Parents/Tots/Seniors will be held each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to noon at the John Millar Civic Center for senior citizens, as well as parents and their young children. Come enjoy some quiet ice time. Admission to Parents/Tots/Seniors is always free.
    After School Skating will be held Dec. 4 and 11 at the John Millar Civic Center from 2-4 p.m.
    Children in grades 3 and under need to be accompanied by a parent to attend.
    The admission fee is $3.50 per child and $2 for skate rentals.         Bus No. 11 will be available to drop children off if a parent or guardian sends the child with a note.
    Public skating for the upcoming weekend will be held on Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 1-4 p.m. Admission is $3.50 for youth, $4 for adults and $2 for seniors. Don’t have skates? Skate rentals are available for $2.
