PRESQUE ISLE – Richard S. Beckwith, 66, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at his residence. He was born August 9, 1946, in Presque Isle, the son of Herschel and Vera Beckwith.

    Upon graduation from high school, Richard served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years as an insurance agent and also in construction.
    He leaves behind four children, Christian Beckwith, Colin Beckwith, Amy Beckwith, and Margo Morang; as well as his grandchildren.
    In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sandra L. Perkins; and a sister, Barbara Beckwith.
