Four-generations recently gathered on March 31 , enjoying a special Easter celebration together. Four generations are, from left, front row: Tammy Kalmback of Brunswick (formerly resident of Woodland), Noah Kalmbach of South Portland, and Debbie (Fowler) Green of Woodland. Back row: Matthew Kalmback of South Portland. The family is shown here gathered around a delicious piece of family history — a lamb cake that was made from the same old cast iron mold that Debbie’s mother, Idella Fowler, used to make Debbie’s first birthday cake. Debbie’s sister, Bonnie Bishop, made the cake for the holiday celebration; those who attended the Woodland school back in the 60s and 70s era may remember the “famous” lamb cakes that Idella Fowler brought to school for everyone to enjoy.
