The following area students received diplomas from Husson University on Saturday, May 11, in Bangor, or Saturday, May 18, in Portland, the 106th commencements of Husson University. Husson awarded a total of 760 degrees with students participating from 200 Maine towns, 19 states and eight countries, earning associate, bachelor, master’s and doctoral degrees from Husson’s Colleges of Business, Health & Education, Science and Humanities and our first class of doctoral students in the School of Pharmacy. Stiles, M.S. in nursing; Crouseville — Charly-Rae Chandler, A.S. accounting/B.S. business administration; Easton — Francis P. Diandrea III, B.S. computer information systems, cum laude; and Daniel J. Menard, master of business administration; Fort Fairfield — Paul J. Guiou, Doctor of Pharmacy, summa cum laude; Rachel J. Worcester, Doctor of Physical Therapy; Amanda J. McLaughlin, master of business administration; and Jacqueline M. Martin, M.S. in school counseling; Mapleton — Nicholas E. Gimbel, B.S. in criminal justice/psychology; Nathan J. Berry, master of business administration; and Johna L. Lovely, M.S. in clinical mental health counseling; Mars Hill — Wendy Riopelle, master in business administration; Portage — James A. Holmes, B.S. in accounting, magna cum laude; and Washburn — Alexandra T. Schaller, Doctor of Pharmacy, magna cum laude.
