MONTICELLO – Barbara A. Brooker, 75, of Monticello died July 11, 2014, in Houlton. She was born Jan. 25, 1939, in Bristol, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Alfred and Doris Shaw Banks. She resided at Madigan Estates for the last three years.
She is survived by four children, Rick and Debra Brooker of Linden, North Carolina, Pamela and Daniel Homes of Mars Hill, Sonia and Peter LeMay of Monticello and Brian and Crystal Brooker of Monticello; five grandchildren and several great-grand-children; two brothers and one sister, Winston and Rhonda Banks of London Ontario, Canada, Ada Tilley of Fort Fairfield and Wallace and Laura Banks of Shelburne, Ontario; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Bud; and four sons, Albert Jr. (Nipper), Gary Jr., Tom and Mike.
There will be a memorial service at Monticello Fish & Game Club at 4 p.m. on July 19. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.
