    Kennedy, Coralie A., 77, December 18, 2014.  Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 27 at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church.  Spring interment to be held in the Mount Chase Cemetery.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.

    PT Coralie KennedyPATTEN – Coralie (Cokie) Kennedy, 77, passed away Dec. 18, 2014, peacefully with family by her side. She was born September 16, 1937, the daughter of Wesley and Beryl (Lawler) Howes.
    Cokie grew up in the hilly countryside of Mt. Chase with a loving family and many friends. She was many things in her lifetime. She raised a family on the Happy Corner Road Farm, was first and foremost a mom, wife, sister, daughter and a true friend to all. She worked hard on the farm, and was very gifted in many creative ways but loved making wreaths and soap with her dear friend Eve. Cokie loved and enjoyed being a member of the UMW of Patten. She was well taken care of by her many friends who worked very hard to make sure her last few months of ALS were of quality time. She was truly loved by all who took care of her.
    She is survived by her four children, Craig Kennedy of Merrill, Glenn Kennedy Jr. and significant other, Janice, of Sherman, Cynthia Kennedy Niquette and her husband, David of Swan’s Island, David Kennedy, of St. Thomas Virgin Island; she enjoyed her ten grand-children and seven great-grand-children. She is also survived by sisters, Rita Palmer of Patten, Debbie Erickson of Libby, Montana; brothers, Fred Howes of Scarborough, Greg Howes of Houlton; sister-in-law, Donna White and family; Glen and Cokie’s angel and dear friend, Michael Liberty. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Glenn Sr. and brother, Ronald Howes.
    Friends may call 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, December 27 at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls with funeral services being held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church.
