    Cunliffe, Helen H., 102, August 8, 2015.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015, at the New Limerick Cemetery.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.

    PT Helen CunliffeHOULTON – Helen Hatfield Cunliffe, 102, peacefully passed away Aug. 8, 2015, while a resident at Madigan Estates. She was born Jan. 6, 1913, in New Limerick, the daughter of Charles (Jon) and Carrie (Morrison) Hatfield. After the death of her parents in 1917, Helen was brought up by her grandparents, Willard and Amanda Hatfield of New Limerick. She was married to Ray Cunliffe and during the period that he was the proprietor of Cunliffe’s Homelite Shop, she was his support and bookkeeper. Helen was a devoted and loving wife, wonderful mother and grandmother. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, decorating her home, cooking and playing cards with the ladies of her canasta club. She was a member of the Military Street Baptist Church. Helen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ronald Henderson of Orient; her daughter-in-law, Regina Cunliffe of Smyrna; four grandchildren, Beth Ann McLellan and her husband, Mike of Derry, NH, Robert Lloyd of Alton, Julie Martin and her husband, Scott of Sanford, FL, Randy Henderson and his wife, Marsha, of Newport; five great-grandchildren, two great, great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Marjorie Crockett, a special friend, David Moore; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ray; her daughter, Patricia Lloyd; her son, Roger Cunliffe; her son-in-law, Hudson “Leigh” Lloyd; her granddaughter, LeeAnn Wilcox; her great-granddaughter, Jessica Nickerson; and two brothers, Kenneth and Ora Hatfield. Many thanks for the compassionate care given to Helen at Madigan Estates and the dedication of her special friends, Winnie Briggs and Louise Grant who faithfully visited her and played cards with her. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, in the New Limerick Cemetery with Rev. Randall Burns officiating.
