Poitras Service, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business that specializes in the service and repair of small engines, and small engine powered equipment. We will work on anything and everything that is powered with a small engine, from lawn mowers to snowblowers, lawn tractors to garden tractors, to zero-turn mowers, and everything in-between.
Warranty work is also a large part of our business, as we will do warranty repairs on a wide variety of small engines, including Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Subaru-Robin, and LCT, as well as warranty repairs on a large variety of equipment including Ariens, DR Power, and MTD. Honda Engines and Generac were recently added to our service lineup.
Not only do we specialize in the service and repair of equipment, we also have a large variety of equipment that we sell. The Ariens brand of lawn, chore, and snow removal equipment is our most popular and sought-after product. The Ariens Company is widely regarded as being “The King of Snow,” and has a worldwide reputation as being the Number 1 snow-thrower in the world.
We now sell and service Generac generators which are highly regarded in the industry and the company owns about 90 percent of the market. These units vary from small, campground inverter style to larger stand-by generators to power your complete needs automatically when electricity is interrupted to your home or business.
DR Power is also well known and respected for making very high-quality, niche-based equipment. DR Power makes equipment for the homeowner that most homeowners never even knew they needed. The DR Field and Brush mowers, Chipper Shredders, trimmer mowers, Power Wagons, and more are all well-constructed, high-quality pieces of equipment that you will take pride in owning.
Amongst other things, we also sell and service Tanaka brand 2-cycle equipment, which all comes backed with an industry-leading 7-year warranty.
