Senior golfers tee it up at Va Jo Wa
ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The Upper St. John Valley Senior Golf Association met for a tournament at Va Jo Wa Golf Club Aug. 17, 2016.
Division winners were as follows: Div. A gross: first, Warren Walker, Va Jo Wa, 76; second, Joe Sullivan, Hartland, 76; and third, Jerry York, Houlton, 77. Net: first, Sam Townsend, Mars Hill, 70; second, Rick Pelletier, Long Lake, 74; and third, Gary Greene, Hartland, 75.
Div. B gross: first, Clinton Doustu, Fort Kent, 82; second, Ron Kearney, Hartland, 83; and third, Arthur Tardiff, Grand Falls, 84. Net: first, Richard Winslow, Portage, 72; second, Gilles Picard, Grand Falls, 73; and third, Everett Parker, Hartland, 75.
