CAROLYN ‘CAROL’ J. DWYER, GOFFSTOWN, NH – Carolyn “Carol” J. Dwyer, 86, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017. She was born in Houlton, to Harold and Josephine (Fortier) Bickford.
Carol resided in Houlton until she married Robert Dwyer in 1951. She then resided in Maine and Vermont before moving to Goffstown, NH, where she and Bob raised their five children. She and Bob were married 58 years until his passing in 2009.
Family members include her children, Linda D. Rollins and her husband, David, of Allenstown, Sandra R. Brown and her husband, Larry, of Goffstown, Renee L. Bartlett and her husband, Arthur, of Goffstown, David R. Dwyer Sr., and fiancée, Lisa McCassin, of Goffstown and Devon C. Beckwith of Barrington. Carol also leaves 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her interests included membership in the Neighborly Club, Mothers Club, Southern NH Skating Club, Bowling League at Kings Lanes and Order of Eastern Star. Carol enjoyed winters in Florida and many activities associated with Bektash Shrine and Bektash Temple Guard.
Graveside services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery in Goffstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southern NH Skating Club, 311 West River Road, Hooksett, NH 03106. French & Rising is handling the arrangements.
