ACAP hosts blood drive

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — On Wednesday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Aroostook County Action Program will host a blood drive for the American Red Cross at their 771 Main Street Office in Presque Isle.  

ACAP officials said with the holidays approaching, the need for blood is as great as ever. Their internal slogan for the event is “Don’t be a turkey, donate blood.”

Representatives from American Red Cross will be on site to answer questions and explain the importance of donating blood.
