CECILY L. MACKINNON, PATTEN – Cecily L. MacKinnon, 74, of Patten, died on Nov. 22, 2017, in Bangor surrounded by her family. She was born on June 24, 1944, in Newton, Mass., the daughter of Fredrick and Priscilla (Allen) Newcomb. She attended the Mass. College of Art, receiving her B.A. and received her Masters in Special Education from Univ. of Maine.
She was a member of the Patten Women’s Club and the United Methodist Women Club. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Allan MacKinnon, of Patten; two wonderful sons, Frank and Monica MacKinnon of So. Portland, and Stuart and Karen MacKinnon of Wilmington, Mass.; four outstanding grandchildren, William, Illana, Issac, and Jonathan; one brother, Allen Newcomb of Florida; one niece, Pa; and one nephew, Stephen; very dear friends Sally, Ruth, Charlotte, Helen, and Brandy.
