Local “snowbirds” will have a chance to enjoy some of Maine in Florida later this month.
The 64th Annual Maine Day will be held Feb. 24 at the Lions Club, 5827 Dean Dairy Rd. (off SR 54 West), Zephyrhills, Fla.
Registration will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Lunch will be available for $3/person, served by Lions Club and kitchen crew members. The menu includes Maine lobster rolls, Maine baked beans, grapenut pudding, bread pudding and more goodies, just to mention a few.
Music by Rockin’ Ron & the New Society Band. There will be door prizes and a 50/50/ raffle, along with T-shirts for sale.
