Former Houlton High School standout tosses no-hitter for Husson

BANGOR, Maine — Husson freshman pitcher Cam Graham has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for week 12 based on his performance in an April 29 game against Lyndon.

The former Houlton High School baseball standout won his second game of the season for Husson as he pitched seven innings, allowing no runs, no hits, and two walks, with seven strikeouts. The Eagles won 1-0. It is just the 12th no-hitter in Husson history.

Graham played four years of varsity baseball and basketball at Houlton High School and graduated in 2017. During his time as a Shiretowner, Graham tossed four no-hitters for the club.

“I am very proud of him,” Houlton coach Jim Castner said. “He has put in a lot of hard work and dedication. That is an accomplishment he will cherish for the rest of his life. I am also proud that he represented our program and it can show the younger guys that if they work hard they can achieve lofty results at the higher level.”

In high school, Graham was part of the 2014 basketball state championship team; a second-team Big East Conference all-star; WHOU All-County Team, All-Aroostook and Big East All-Star senior year for basketball.; and a member of the 2016 Eastern Maine Runners-Up baseball team.

He played legion baseball for Motor City the summer of 2016, and for the Bangor Comrades in the summer of 2017.

He is the son of Shawn and Angela Graham of Littleton and is majoring in business administration at Husson.
