PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Farmer’s Market is moving to Riverside Drive, and will unite with the Riverside Public Market to offer a single venue in the Star City.

Deena Albert Parks, manager of the market formerly held at the Aroostook Centre Mall, said, “Everyone is excited about the merger of the two markets and the move to Riverside. The Presque Isle Farmers’ Market is so grateful to the Aroostook Centre Mall for hosting the market for many years.”

The combined Riverside Market’s opening day will be Saturday, June 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Parks said, “The City of Presque Isle has been so helpful as we finalize plans for the merger of the two farmers’ markets.  Please come out and support our local farmers and artisans all summer long.”
